If we ever wanted to move from our neighborhood, I would like to know that no matter where we choose to live in Ozaukee County, we as parents don't have to worry our neighbor has a 150 pound pit bull or rottweiler next door that could attack my child while playing in his own yard.

I am fed up with watching our community crumble into a war that has ignited through the entire country. I am 23 and I am part of this "new" generation, the generation where respect, honor and integrity do not exist among my peers. I fought for our rights to freedom of speech and I lost brothers who sacrificed there lives so that each of us can continue to live ours. We need to come together and stand up for what is right, not contribute to the problem. We need to support our first responders and not turn our backs on them when they need us most. We need to stick up for our fellow man/woman and pick them up when they are down, not turn our back because they are a lighter/darker shade of color. Each & everyone of us has a duty to our country and our community. It starts here with us and it needs to start now. Are we no longer proud to be Americans? We need to grow as one, not divide. We have an amazing community and amazing people within our community, lets make our stand here and now.

This intersection continues to get more and more dangerous to cross, let alone try to head East on Lakefield and head north on Port Road. The traffic coming from the south on Port tend to either speed north or turn west on Lakefield, making crossing or heading north nearly impossible. Today was probably the 5th time I nearly saw an accident here
A round about would be a great way to keep traffic flowing. Plus it might be a nice spot to feature a statue or city sign entering into the shopping district of Grafton or directing visitors into downtown Cedarburg.

Saukville Rebel’s football is for boys and girls interested in tackle football, will be entering 4th through 8th grades, and who reside in the Port Washington/ Saukville school district.
The Saukville Rebels provides the youth in the Port Washington/ Saukville school district the opportunity to have a fun, positive experience, while learning the game of football. Fundamentals and safety are the primary objectives of the program. However, more than that, players learn life lessons and create lasting friendships with both teammates and coaches.

Opiate addiction is a public health crisis in our country, yet it is stigmatized and treated as a criminal offense by our legal system. It is a health problem, not a criminal problem. The way things currently work in our county is that a person who overdoses and needs intervention from the paramedics will be taken to the hospital, and then taken to jail and charged. In Milwaukee county handles cases like this according to research based evidence that clearly shows that charging an opiate addict with a drug crime will not only make them worse off in terms of recovery, but also do nothing to deter them from using again. Therefore, when this exact situation happens in Milwaukee County, the main concern is to help the addict recover in a supportive environment, rather than sending him/her to jail--which has been shown to be the least effective and most expensive place to treat addiction. Our community must raise our voices to change the way drug offenses are addressed by our legal system.

Create a panel that will discuss marijuana policy changes. Prepare for inevitable federal legalization, zoning and planning agendas regarding high quality state tested marijuana farms. Farmers should have first dibs on cultivation of marijuana and help boost the economy in Wisconsin to record numbers. Milwaukee iDA has refused to go after the largest illegal marijuana grow in Wisconsin’s history this month. Franklin, wants the DA to go after Managment of pot farm, and Milwaukee isn’t going to prosecute. Marijuana has been sitting in a field for about a month without surveillance, after the cops arrived on September 1st. With federal legalization looming, I’m hoping to get some assistance from Ozaukee county with making changes to county ordinances, and preparing for the inevitable. As of now marijuana products are circulating all over the county thru the farm bill loophole allowing cannabis with less than .03% thc.delta 9. Delta 8 is unregulated and just as potent as the real thing.

With federal legalization of marijuana inevitable and coming closer to reality, The county should be taking proactive measures to ensure that Ozaukee County, and it’s farmers will have the protections in place to ensure economic gains. Unfortunately many in the cannabis industry in Illinois are pushed out small farmers
The large corporations play Cresco labs will ensure that small farmers will not be able to enter in the market. Ozaukee county has so much farmland and stands to make hundreds of millions of dollars in the next 10 years. Let’s be prepared and get a panel put together now. We definitely don’t want to lose out to Milwaukee county and have our county residents driving to Milwaukee instead of Ozaukee cannabis businesses.

From my experience, when sitting at the stop sign in the west leg of the intersection, it is very difficult to see vehicles approaching from the south, vehicles which currently do not have to stop at the intersection. It is especially difficult when in the left lane looking to turn left to go north. The vehicles on your right block what small vision triangle there is to see traffic from the south. I am certain that the intersection sight distance is well below the standard, and thus a stop sign for northbound traffic is warranted.

The planned paving/widening/straightening of CTH I from Fredonia Kohler Road South will do nothing to mitigate the danger of this intersection. Instead, it will amplify the problem as drivers fail to slow for the intersection. Very poor visibility south from the intersection and coming from the south to the intersection. A simple set of stop signs would take care of the problem and make this corner safer for drivers, walkers, bikers, etc.
