Waubedonia Park
About the Park
Waubedonia Park is the only County Park that offers camping. The park is just a short drive from the Milwaukee metro area, making it ideal for a quick weekend getaway. There are 13 rustic campsites which are open from the first Saturday in May through the third Saturday in October, weather permitting. Spring is a beautiful time to see the variety of wild flowers
as well as the migrating birds that use the river as a travel corridor. At Waubedonia, you can fish for smallmouth bass and northern pike right from the front of your tent. Additionally, your boats, canoes and kayaks are welcome at the public launch at no cost. The park also has a rentable open air pavilion with enough picnic tables to seat 100 people. Banquet tables and a large outdoor grill are included with your reservation. There is also a small section of the park north of County Road H for picnicking and fishing.
