About Sandi Tretow

Sandi was appointed Ozaukee County Treasurer on October 31, 2022.  As this is an elected position, her term expires in 2024, but is looking forward to the necessary steps of getting her name on the ballot and participating in the election process!  Sandi worked for the Village of Fredonia from 2010-2021 serving as Deputy Clerk-Treasurer, and then Clerk-Treasurer for almost 8 years.  Sandi is a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Fredonia and serves on the Altar Guild and has served as Church Council Secretary, Sunday School Teacher and Vacation Bible School Helper.  She has also served as Treasurer for the Warrior Music Booster Club at Northern Ozaukee School District.  Sandi lives in Fredonia with her daughter, who is attending MATC to become a welder.  Sandi enjoys hot-air ballooning as her father has been a pilot for over 40 years.

Sandi’s favorite part of working for the Ozaukee County Treasurer’s Office is the interaction with people – residents and our sixteen municipalities.  She also loves tax collection season, which is practically all year long.  It is fun to learn the county aspect of many of the tasks that she has learned on a municipal level.
