2022 Open Enrollment

Open enrollment for 2022 starts Tuesday, November 9, 2021 and ends on Friday, November 19, 2021.  All changes and completed forms must be received in the Human Resources Department by 5:00pm on November 19, 2021.

Open enrollment is the only time you can make changes to your benefit elections unless you have a "qualifying event" such as a marriage, divorce, birth, etc.. in which Human Resources needed to be notified within 30 days of the qualifying event.

These changes include:

  • Adding eligible dependents to health, dental and vision insurance plan.
  • Removing dependents from the health, dental and vision insurance plan.
  • Enroll in health, dental and vision insurance plans if you previously waived coverage.
  • Enroll in the 2022 Flexible Spending Account.  You must re-enroll in your medial and/or flexible spending account each year as you are not automatically re-enrolled.

Please note if you are NOT making any changes to your health, dental and/or vision insurance coverage NO action is required.

Health Insurance

  • We will be remaining with WCA Group Health Trust Insurance in 2022 for our Health Insurance Coverage.
  • There was a 2% increase in premiums as indicated in the 2022 Insurance Premiums Link below.
  • There are no plan design changes, additional information regarding our plan is found in the Benefit Booklet and Summary of Benefits of Coverage listed below.

Dental Insurance 

  • We will be remaining with MetLife for our 2022 dental insurance coverage.
  • There was a 7.5% increase in premiums as indicated in the 2022 Insurance Premiums Link Below.
  • There are no plan design changes, additional information regarding our plan is found in the Summary of Benefits Listed below.  

Vision Insurance

  • We will be remaining with MetLife for our 2022 vision insurance coverage.
  • There was NO change in premiums.
  • There are no benefit design changes, additional information regarding our plan is found in the Summary of Benefits listed below.

Flexible Spending 

  • We have partnered with Diversified Benefits Services (DBS) to administer our Flexible Spending Accounts for 2022.
  • Employees participating in the 2022 Flexible Spending Program will need to register through Diversified Benefits Services (DBS)  on-line portal.
  • Additional information regarding the 2022 Flexible Spending Account and on-line registration is listed below.

Ozaukee County's health insurance is offered through WCA - Group Health Trust and is administered through UMR.  The pre-taxed health insurance deductions are taken a month BEFORE the premium is due.

2022 Health Insurance Enrollment/Change Form

  • Employees and their dependents enrolled in our health insurance plan can utilize the Aurora Group Health Trust Clinic at NO COST.
  • Basic Eye exams are covered under our health insurance plan at NO COST to the employee.
  • Only one preventative annual exam will be covered in a calendar year.

Ozaukee County's dental insurance is administered through MetLife.  The pre-taxed dental deductions are taken a month BEFORE the premium is due.

MetLife does not issue ID cards for dental coverage.  You would need to use our group number or your Social Security number at your providers office.
