Occupational Therapy
- Lymphedema Management: Two Certified Lymphedema Therapists on-site
- Low Vision: Low-Vision certified therapist on staff
- ADLs: Skilled interventions, adaptive equipment training to improve functional independence
- IADLS: Community re-integration including simulated mobility in
community , financial skills training, and coordination of transportation strategies - Pain Management: Modalities for upper-extremity injuries including therapeutic ultrasound, electronic stimulation, heat/cold therapy.
Physical Therapy
- Pain Management: Modalities for lower-extremity, back, torso injuries including therapeutic ultrasound, electronic stimulation, heat/cold therapy
- Arthritis: American Arthritis Foundation – Certified therapist on site for development of exercise programs tailored to individuals with arthritis
- Post-Surgical Orthopedic Rehabilitation: Staff experienced in post-surgical hip, knee, and shoulder replacements, as well as post-surgical fractures
Speech Therapy
- VitalStim: Modality to accompany
improvement of swallow function - Communication Deficits: Staff knowledgeable in interventions to improve speech and hearing function, including state-of-the-art communication devices
- Dysphagia: Comprehensive evaluation and treatment of swallowing dysfunction
- Cognitive Function: Comprehensive evaluation and treatment of cognitive dysfunction
- Memory Care: Assessment, treatment, and development of care strategies unique to the individual with Alzheimer’s or Dementia
Other Services
- Home Evaluations: As a part of an Occupational or Physical therapy program, home evaluations are available for assessment of safety, mobility – as well as
assistive-device andadaptive-equipment needs. - Orthotics: Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists on staff experienced in identifying appropriate orthotic devices – splints, braces, supports – including training and assessment.
