Tendick Nature Park, is located about 3 miles north of the Village of Saukville on HWY O.  The park consists of two parcels, coming from the Village of Saukville, the first parcel you will see on your right (east) is the archery range--kayak/canoe launch.  This 32.4 acre parcel is located on the Milwaukee River.  The daily hours are from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM.  The archery range has two yardage marked ground level ranges, and one yardage marked 12ft. elevated platform range.  All targets are made of excelsior bales.  The kayak/canoe launch is about 100 feet east of the railroad tracks and asphalt parking lot at the end of the park road.  You can follow the strip of mowed grass to the launch and river access.  This parcel of Tendick Nature Park is also the area used for spectator parking during Cross Country Meets.  There are a few picnic tables available for those who like to relax outside in this quit setting. Dogs and cats that are cleaned up after and leashed are also welcome.

The second parcel of Tendick Nature Park is located on the west side of the highway, with an entrance at 3919 HWY O.   One quarter of a mile north of the archery range / kayak / canoe launch entrance.  This area has the same daily hours of 6am---9pm.  This 89.7 acre parcel has something for every one to enjoy - fields, water, woods, open fields and wetlands.  The first thing you will see after you enter through the gates is a gazebo that over looks the pond, this structure is handi-cap accessible and available for anyone to use.  The open air pavilion on the west side of the parking lot has picnic table seating for up to 100 people and is available to rent.  This pavilion has electric outlets, banquet tables, an outdoor grill, a bubbler (drinking water fountain), and flush toilets open to the public.   Click Here - for a printer friendly map of the park.

Tendick Nature Park also has one of the only 18-hole disc golf courses in Ozaukee County!  This 'top of the line' disc golf course has 36 tournament quality pro and standard concrete T-pads and PDGA certified disc golf baskets.  The course is laid out through fields and woods, sure to test everyone's skill of the game.  While many of the park trails are favorite courses used for regional and sectional Cross Country Meets, they are also especially enjoyed by dog walkers, and hikers. 

You may notice an old log style house and windmill, on the north side of the park, that is surrounded by split rail fencing and food and flower beds.  This area is maintained by members of the Ozaukee County Master Gardeners who always encourage interested parties to join up and enjoy the opportunity to show their skills.
