Like baseball and football, basketball
was a popular pastime with boys in Cedarburg, and a
group of them gathered for a team picture seemed barely
able to hold still for the photographer. Girls in
one-piece gym suits also took an active part in school
athletics, though it is unclear just what sport they
might have won their trophy take part in.
