Ice Skating Around Town
(Click photos to enlarge)

Ice skating was always a popular winter sport in Cedarburg, but the locations of the rink changed from time to time.  Cedar Creek was always a popular spot for families to take to the ice.  Beside the creek, the baseball diamond along Portland Road was flooded in winter to allow skating for several years.  The chimney of the old planing mill  which once stood on the site of today's Legion Hall formed a backdrop for the skaters (above).
