Among
the most popular recreational activities pursued by boys
and girls during the '40s and '50s were games like
hopscotch and sandlot baseball. Here a group of
children gathered to play hopscotch in front of the old
Groth garage, while a few boys found only a bat and ball
were required to play a good game of baseball. |
