First Immanuel Lutheran School

Students enrolled in First Immanuel Lutheran School
attended classes in this building located behind the
church on Cleveland Street in the 1950’s. A larger
school was later built on Evergreen Boulevard, and
this structure currently houses an orthodontics
office.

Growing Congregation
First Immanuel Lutheran Church, constructed
in 1891 on the corner of Cleveland and St. John,
was remodeled around Mid-century. Enlargement of
the alter area required the partial demolition
of the existing sanctuary wall. |
