The Cedarburg Mill was built by Frederick Hilgen and William Schroeder in 1855 to provide custom grinding and mixing for area farmers.  Since its construction, the mill has enjoyed the status of a landmark, designating the center of the Cedarburg community.  The building now houses the Landmark Supply Company.  The Oriental style building east of the mill was originally constructed by Wadham’s Oil Company as a service station. The structure now houses The Pagoda, a custom jewelry shop.
