Ernst Schneider served as Chief of the Cedarburg Fire Department for 50 years.  He was suceeded by William Ritter, who had been the Assistant Chief.  Stanley Roebken was the Second Assistant Chief, Jams Rix was the Treasurer, and George Armbuster was the Secretary.
