Originally constructed as the residence of one of the owners of the Wittenberg Woolen Mill, this imposing building on the northwest corner of Washington Avenue and Bridge Road served as the Bannenberg Funeral Home around mid-century. Its facade has been altered over the years, but the building continues to service as a funeral home operated by Schramka-Gunther.
