Immunizations The Health Department conducts several immunization clinics each month. These clinics are by appointment only by calling 284-8170 or 238-8170 metro.
Vaccines available to children include: DTaP Hepatitis A Hepatitis B HIB (Haemophilus influenzae b vaccine) HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) Influenza MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) Meningococcal (meningitis) Pneumococcal (pneumonia) Polio, Injectable through age 17 Rotovirus Td (tetanus) Tdap TB tuberculosis skin test Varicella (chicken pox) A service charge of $7.00 per dose is charged for all children’s vaccines. The service charge can be adjusted based on ability to pay for any children’s vaccine. We do encourage clients to go to their doctor for immunizations if they are covered under their health insurance plan. Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian. Immunization records of children are required. Grandparents cannot sign consent forms – no exceptions will be made. Vaccines available to Adults include: TB tuberculosis skin test $ 7.00 Td $ 7.00 Tdap $ 7.00 Hepatitis B $ 35.00 per dose (three dose series) Hepatitis A $ 30.00 per dose (two dose series) Varicella $100.00 per dose (two dose series) Meningococcal (meningitis) $100.00 (ordered with prepay - call) Typhoid $ 55.00 (ordered with prepay – call) Influenza $ 25.00 (2008 rate-Medicare/Medicaid may cover) Pneumococcal (pneumonia) $ 40.00 (2008 rate-Medicare/Medicaid may cover)
