  Human Services - Counseling Center

The Counseling Center is a state certified mental health, alcohol and other drug abuse outpatient clinic which offers Ozaukee County residents a wide range of services provided by clinical social workers, chemical abuse counselors, psychiatrists, and psychologists.

THE OZAUKEE COUNSELING CENTER provides the evaluation and treatment of:

Marital, parental, familial, and other relationship problems including divorce

and premarital issues

Emotional problems, including depression, anxiety and stress

Childhood and adolescent disorders

Severe psychiatric disorders, both chronic and acute

Alcohol and other drug abuse problems

Sexual abuse issues of the victim, perpetrator and family

In addition, the Ozaukee Counseling Center provides:

Court ordered assessments and treatment for persons convicted of operating a motor vehicle

while intoxicated (Intoxicated Driver Program)

Arrangements by contract for voluntary and involuntary hospitalizations, supportive work programs, and halfway house placements

Information and educational services to community groups and individuals

Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) services to "First Responders" (i.e., police, fire, and rescue personnel)

Mental Health and Chemical Dependency services to inmates of the Ozaukee County Jail

Crisis intervention services for mental health, alcohol and other drug abuse problems. These services are available 24 hours per day, seven days per week with access after normal work hours through the Cope Hotline (262-377-COPE or 1-800-540-3139, both have TDD capability).
