The Commissioner also oversees the Family Law Assistance Center, where people without lawyers can get help filling out forms for divorce cases, either to start a new case or to modify or enforce orders that already exist. Additionally, the Commissioner is designated as the Director of Family Court Services, which provides mediation services to parents who seek help in addressing custody and placement issues for their minor children. |
