 Quarles & Brady (law firm) 1964-2000, partner since 1971; former head of the tax group; practiced in areas of corporate and tax law. Retired.

 Married to Anne since 1963, three adult daughters and six grandchildren.

 Hobby Farm, Books, History.
Accomplishments

 Chosen several times for "Best Lawyers in American" for corporate and tax law until retirement. Civic award from U of Wisconsin Law School. Current fellow of Pierson College, part of Yale University, New Haven CT.
