Among our Ozaukee County's projects that would be ideal for
private support :

The purchase, infrastructure development and
naming
rights of 70 acres of unique shoreline and public beach along
Lake Michigan know as the
Lions Den Gorge. The property is naturally
diverse with terrain ranging from wetlands and a deep gorge to wooded
highlands and a steep bluff that provides striking views of Lake
Michigan. |

The
restoration effort for our County Courthouse
in Port
Washington. The initiative germinated from our building's 100-year celebration
as our County seat that was held in conjunction with the
Fourth of July
celebration, 2001. Ornate and elegant stenciling and original furnishings
would be restored and the intent is to model similar efforts made in
Washington and Brown Counties.
