Our mission is to provide a one stop source of information and assistance for older adults, adults with disabilities, their families, friends, and caregivers by linking them with resources and services that enable them to live as independently as possible.

Caregivers

A caregiver is an integral member of the care team for someone who is elderly or who has a chronic condition. Caregivers provide services many individuals need such as personal care, homemaking and errand running, medication management, as well as emotional support. Many individuals, if it were not for their caregiver, would find themselves in need of nursing home care or alternative care facilities.

The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Ozaukee County has a variety of outreach efforts to help support caregivers. These include educational classes, support groups, respite options, and informative websites.
