4-H IS FOR ADULTS TOO!! The
4-H organization is for youth working on practical, learn-by-doing
educational projects and gaining valuable life experiences in a club
setting. But,
4-H is for adults too! More
than 300 adults volunteer to be 4-H club organizational, project and
activity leaders in Ozaukee County each year.
You can interact with neighborhood youth, share a hobby, serve your
community and develop skills, confidence and friendships with other adults
who share your interests. What
does it take to be a 4-H leader? If
you are unique, enjoy working with others and have something to share with
youth, you may be what we are looking for!
Call the UW Extension Office in Port Washington to talk about
volunteer possibilities. (262)

must complete a 4-H volunteer orientation and
certification program before they can begin working the 4-H members. Adults Reap Rewards
from 4-H involvement 4-H
is a positive force for young people, but adults are also rewarded for
their service to the 4-H program. What
