Each program listed below has specific income & asset limits, which can vary with family size.
The call center assists with inquiries regarding:
  • BadgerCare Plus - Ensures that all Wisconsin children have access to affordable health care
  • Child Care Assistance - Helps low-income families offset the cost of day care
  • FoodShare - Enables those with limited income to buy food necessary for good health
  • Medicaid (Title 19) - Medical assistance for elderly, blind, or disabled individuals including nursing home and family care

Ozaukee County Veteran Services Office


Role & Services


Informs veterans of various benefits and the specific eligibility criteria for each. 
Assists veterans in completing benefit applications and in compiling the supporting documentation necessary for successful adjudication of each claim.  Coordinates a transportation program for veterans who need assistance get to/from medical appointments at the Veterans Hospital in Milwaukee. 
There is a nominal charge for this transportation services

Social Security Administration


Role & Services


Provides assistance and counseling about Social Security benefits and Supplemental Security Income (SSI). People in financial need who are 65 or older, or people of any age who are blind or have a disability may be eligible for monthly cash payments from the federal government. SSI is a monthly cash payment available for eligible low income elderly or disabled individuals. SSI includes automatic eligibility for medical assistance and other services.
